Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Children’s Hospital was founded in 1981 as Dnipropetrovsk City Children’s Hospital No. 5. In 1986 it was reorganized into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Children’s Hospital, enlarging its capacity through adding a urology and nephrology units. In 2001-2005 the main building’s Block 4 has undergone major repairs and reconstruction.
Its total bed capacity is 410. The clinic includes 11 specialized hospital units. Around 780 people work at the clinics, 150 of them being doctors.
