Donetsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital was founded in 1963. Its consultative clinics can receive 75,000 patients per year.

Around 150 doctors and 320 paramedics work at the clinic.

The hospital is involved into a number of international programs. Among the major ones are the Breastfeeding Program and UNICEF’s Maternal and Child’s Health Program.

The priority area for the hospital pediatricians is preventing most common children’s diseases, children’s disabilities, and rehabilitating the disabled children.

The hospital staff is prepared to work with both foreign and national partners on a beneficial basis. Developing the doctors’ skills, interaction with the international medical community, and improving the hospital equipment will help its staff to carry out its main function.

• Urology (40 beds);
• Surgery 1 (30 beds);
• Surgery 2, Contaminated and Septic (50 beds);
• Nephrology(40 beds);
• Pulmonology (50 beds);
• Neonatology (40 beds);
• Ophtalmology (50 beds);
• Contagious Diseases (30 beds);
• Otolaryngology (30 beds);
• General Intensive Therapy(12 beds).
