Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital, founded in 1948, is a multiprofile medical facility. Over 150 doctors and 400 paramedics work at the hospital. It services over 28,000 children in the city and oblast. Its children’s outpatient clinic can receive 700 patients per one shift.
Among the hospital’s priorities is improving surgical assistance, in part, introducing innovative technologies in newborns’ surgery. The hospital also needs to enlarge its capacity in early children’s rehabilitation.
The hospital has an experience of participation in international projects, in part, Preventing Birth Defects in Children.
