Sumy Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital was founded in 1988 as a multiprofile treatment facility. In March 2003 it was assigned the highest qualification.

In the last years the hospital has placed among first in the rating of job performance. In 2001, Sumy Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital has won the first place among Ukraine’s oblast children’s hospitals.

The hospital has 12 specialized units with total bed capacity of 410 and the oblast children’s consultative clinics receiving 240 patients per one shift. Around 110 doctors and 310 paramedics work at the hospital.

Since 2002 the hospital’s hematology unit is member of the ALLIC-BFM-2002 International Studio. The hospital also has an experience of work with international funds. In 2003 it started cooperation with the Sylvia Blake Estate International Fund (the US). The hospital also cooperates with the Wienna Fund (Austria).

• Clinical Diagnosing Lab;
• X-Rays, Hyperbaric Oxygenation, Ultrasonic Diagnosing, Functional Diagnosing, Endoscopy, Dentistry, Eyesight Protection Center, Children’s Audiology Center, Special Outpatients Clinic for Children Sufering from the Chornobyl  Consequences.
