October 12, 2006, an orientational meeting of the Board of Trustees at the Ternopil Oblast Communal Children’s Clinical Hospital was held as part of implementing the Hospital to Hospital Program.
Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Oleksandr Maksymchuk and Coordinator of the Hospital to Hospital Program Inna Holovanchuk were present at the meeting.
The meeting resulted in approving the Statute on the Board of Trustees and its Body. Deputy Head of the Oblast State Administration on Humanities, Professor, Ph.D. in Pedagogics Anatoliy Vykhrushch was elected Head of the Borad. Head of the Ternopil Center for Early Medical and Social Rehabilitation of the Physically Challenged Children Natalia Svirska was elected the Board’s Secretary and permanent contact person with the Hospital to Hospital Program.
After the meeting, Member of the Board of Trustees and Head of the Board of Directors of the Ternopilbud Public Corporation Vasyl Lylo presented a high-quality infant incubator to the Neonatology Department.
The decision to create Boards of Trustees at the hospitals – members of the Hospital to Hospital Program was taken by leaders of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund in September 2006. The Ternopil Hospital’s Board of Trustees was the second created with the immediate participation of the Fund’s members. The first one was created September 29, 2006 at the Lviv City Children’s Clinical Hospital.
