One of the most active Boards of Trustees works at the Mykolayiv Oblast Children’s Hospital. Since its foundation, the hospital staff has felt real changes for the better: the change in the oblast authorities’ attitude and improvements in medical equipment supplying.
The first meeting of the Mykolayiv Oblast Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees was held November 15, 2006, electing Head of the Mykolayiv Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Sadykov as its head.
The Council’s terms of reference cover analyzing the hospital’s use of the budget funds and implementing charitable aid programs, considering and approving reports on the results of charitable programs implementation, submitting proposals regarding the hospital’s activities and management.
In 2006, due to the Council, the hospital has received medical equipment with total cost of almost three million hryvnias.
For the last three years, charitable actions have been held, initiated by Head of the Mykolayiv Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Sadykov, resulting into the purchase of modern equipment for the Newborns’ ICU totaling around UAH 500,000.
