June 1, 2008, on the International Children’s Day, the Zakarpattia Oblast Children’s Hospital together with Mukacheve City Executive Committee conducted the final part of the Healthy Child, Healthy Nation charitable marathon.
Little patients took part in the World through Children’s Eyes contest, the Three Wishes sidewalk painting contest, and painting contest for children with special needs. Special sports events were held for the oblast family-type orphan’s asylums. For the bed-ridden patients, the Fairytale Day was held, with a clown and fairytale characters performing in the wards in all departments.
Every participant and winner has received presents from the hospital’s board of trustees.
Children with special needs, who are undergoing rehabilitation course at the Rosinka Rehabilitation Center, also received a present from local philanthropists: a brand-new modern minibus.
