September 24, 2008, the Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company donated equipment for children with impaired hearing to Chernihiv Oblast Children’s Hospital. This action was a part of the project on providing modern equipment for children with impaired hearing to four Ukrainian hospitals in Volyn, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv oblasts, and the Crimean AR.
The Chernihiv Oblast Children’s Hospital received a diagnostic audiometer and extended-range impedance audiometer to the total cost of UAH 500,000. This equipment will allow early diagnostic and rehabilitation of children with impaired hearing, who will get a chance to grow up to be full-fledged members of the society instead of joining the ranks of the disabled.

Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company announced the start of their joint project to help children with impaired hearing July 18, 2008. Earlier, a set of equipment has been passed to the Children’s Clinical Hospital at the Ministry of Health Care of the Crimea as part of this project.

This action continues the Healthy Ukraine’s Children Ukraine 3000 Foundation and Procter & Gamble Ukraine Company’s joint charitable project within the framework of the Foundation’s Hospital to Hospital program. Its first event was donating four reanimobiles to the total cost of over UAH 1.5 million to Kirovohrad, Zakarpattia, and Luhansk Oblast Children’s Hospitals and Cherkasy Emergency and Disaster Medicine Territorial Center. In 2006 the philanthropists donated equipment to the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Children’s Hospital and Khmelnitsky City Clinical Hospital neonatology units to the total cost of over UAH 850,000.
