An event bringing joy to all little patients took place at the Zakarpattia Oblast Children’s Hospital one of these days. St. Nicholas with a sack of presents visited every ward. All boys and girls received presents from their favorite old man, who bade every kid to get well soon and go back to their homes, schools, and kindergartens.
This cheerful fest at every hospital unit became possible due to the Board of Trustees, who bought presents for every child. This was one of the many deeds of the Board in this year.
Additionally, third and fourth year students of Mukacheve State University School of the Humanities and Pedagogic prepared an interesting performance to entertain patients of all hospital’s units. The future teachers also initiated a Help a Child action at the university, raising funds to purchase presents for the hospital’s little patients who have no family.
The children thanked St. Nicholas with happy smiles and shining eyes. Every kid wrote or painted their wish lists in advance, putting them on the windowsills. Their fondest wish was, of course, getting well. The children’s sincere faith was supported by the adults.
The local M-Studio TV studio highlighted all these events in their festive coverage.
