December 18, 2008, the Rivne Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital celebrated St. Nicholas’s Day. Sponsored by the Board of Trustees, the hospital’s patrons, actors of the local puppet theater, came to greet the little patients.
Children took part in games and competitions, organized by the merry Yellow Bunny and Grey Wolf. The Devil with a birch-rod (one of the traditional companions of St. Nicholas) also came to the celebration. St. Nicholas listened to the poems, recited by kids, greeted them, and gave them candies.
