Specified Conditions Open Bids Competition for Purchasing Medical Equipment for 29 Children’s Hospitals in Ukraine

The bids competition continues to purchase medical equipment for 29 children’s hospitals in Ukraine, announced by Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation December 25, 2008.

Those willing to take part in the competition, please note the specified requirements for the equipment. New requirements for the pulsoximeter:

  • The ability to monitor SpO2, cardiac rhythm, and IP;
  • Trend records;
  • Operating on batteries;
  • Replacement in case of a breakage for the whole period of repairs.

The time and place of opening the bids has also changed for February 9, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at: Kyiv, 10 Borychiv uzviz St. (Poshtova Ploshcha station, McDonalds restaurant, second floor).

Recall that The equipment will be purchased as part of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation - McDonald’s Ukraine cooperation. This year, the World Children’s Day at McDonald’s brought UAH 1,607,000, contributed by visitors and staff members of the 63 McDonald’s restaurants in 19 Ukrainian cities, and earmarked for purchasing reanimation equipment for newborns. The equipment will be passed over to 29 children’s hospitals in Ukraine

The equipment set includes: patient monitoring system, medium class infant incubator, electric pump, pulsoximeter, syringe pump, digital and mechanical scales, photo therapy lamp, and emergency aid kit.

The participants should send their applications to 22A vul. Borychiv Tik, Kyiv, 04070, Ukraine.

The deadline for the applications is February 5, 2009, at 11 a.m. Kyiv time. If sent by regular mail, the letter has to be delivered by the said time.
