February 4, 2009, on World Cancer Day, President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko in course of his visit to the National Institute of Cancer State Institution announced that he had granted it the national status with his Order No. 67/2009 of February 3, 2009.
The President spoke about “the Ukrainian state’s and every Ukrainian’s deep gratitude” to the Institute staff members for their “holy mission.” The President also decorated the National Institute of Cancer workers with state awards.
The Hospital to Hospital program sends greetings to the National Institute of Cancer staff members and bids them success, sound health, professional fulfillment, and optimism.
