Budynok Ihrashok [Toys House] is a nationwide chain of children’s stores. There you can find toys by renowned international producers for children of any age. Budynok Ihrashok carries out a number of charitable projects, in part, cooperation with and aid to the Maliatko Special Secondary Education Orphanage and the Friends of the Children Association.
Budynok Ihrashok patronizes a large-scale joint initiative on equipping playrooms at the Hospital to Hospital program member hospitals. December 16, 2005, an agreement was signed, according to which Budynok Ihrashok provides toys, children’s goods, and stationary for hospitals throughout Ukraine on a monthly basis.
In course of this initiative, Children’s Oncology Units at the Institute of Oncology at the Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences, Luhansk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital, Zakarpattia Oblast Children’s Hospital, Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital, Sumy Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital, Kirovohrad Oblast Children’s Hospital, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital, Rivne Oblast Children’s Hospital, and Kremenchuk City Children’s Hospital have received toys from Budynok Ihrashok. The cooperation continues successfully, with other Program’s member hospitals scheduled to receive board games, building blocks, crayons, and felt-tip pens in the future.
