Children’s Clinical Hospital at the Ministry of Health of the Crimean AR

Due to the Board of Trustees, the hospital has received aid to the amount of UAH 172,000. In part, its units were refurbished (UAH 58,000), electric breast pumps purchased (UAH 16,000), and blood gases analyzer installed (UAH 98,000).

Vinnytsia Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

Since the foundation of the Board of Trustees, the second building of the B Block of the Outpatient, Treatment, and Diagnosing Center for Children – Victims of the Consequences of Chornobyl has been put into operation.

Volyn Oblast Territorial Medical Association

The major objective of the Board of Trustees’ activities is involving non-budget funds to improve the Association’s logistical support.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Clinical Children’s Hospital

In the period of the Board of Trustees’ operation, the hospital has received over UAH 360,000 as charitable aid. In part, due to the Financial Alliance Bank the hospital received two portable X-ray machines to the total of UAH 60,000 and ALV apparatus to the sum of UAH 250,000.

Donetsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

Since the foundation of the Board of Trustees, four meetings were held, discussing a wide range of issues regarding the hospital’s operation: involving non-budget funds for medical aid to Donetsk oblast children, efficient use of the state funds, medicines, and medical equipment received by targeted state programs, and medical equipment received from the Ukraine 3000 Fund.

Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Hospital

The well-coordinated work of the Board of Trustees at the Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Hospital, Health Protection Administration resulted in obtaining around UAH 650,000 of non-budget funds and major repairs at the newborns’ department (around UAH 600,000).

Zakarpattia Oblast Children’s Hospital

Due to the Board of Trustees, the oblast and city community were informed on the situation with budget funds draft and charitable aid application. Due to the effort of the Board, in 2007 the hospital has received medical equipment to the total of over 1,000,000 hryvnias.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast Children’s Hospital

The priority for the Board of Trustees is supplying the hospital with modern medical equipment.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

In 2007, with the support of the Board of Trustees, UAH 100,000 has been raised in donations. Besides, the Board raised UAH 300,000 spent on repairs in the neonatal, ophthalmology, pulmonology, neurology, and trauma departments, along with founding and equipping the Krynytsia Conscious Parenting Center and Dyvosvit Early Development Center.

Kirovohrad Oblast Children’s Hospital

The Board of Trustees takes an active part in the control over budget funds draft for state programs Pancreatic Diabetes, Oncology, and the oblast program Mothers’ and Children’s Health. The Board cooperates with businesspeople and entrepreneurs of Kirovohrad and oblast to involve charitable donations for the oblast children’s hospital.

Luhansk Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

In 2006-2007 the Board cooperated, in part, with the International Relief and Development, Inc., a charitable fund for rehabilitation of deaf children, Promote the Development of Medicine, Hope and Trust, Healthy Nation, From Heart to Heart, and Blahovest Funds, and Altenkirchen District Administration, obtaining from them medical equipment, tools, bed linens, medicines, textbooks, toys, books, etc.

Lviv City Community Children’s Hospital

In the period of the Board’s work has received charitable aid to the total of UAH 335,840.

Mykolayiv Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

Another example of the Board of the Trustees’ work is the joint action by the Sodeystviye and Hope and Trust charitable funds, which has brought the onco-hematology department four functional beds and two infusomats B. Braun to the total of UAH 38,000.

Odesa Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

During the period of the work of the Board of Trustees of the Odesa Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital, the hospital has received a considerable amount of charitable aid in funds, medicines, equipment, implements, services, etc. Enterprises, private firms, charitable funds, and private persons have been involved into providing support to the hospital.

Supervisory Board of the Kremenchuk City Children’s Hospital

Due to the active work of the Supervisory Board, the hospital has received UAH 337,790 in funds and stocks of materials and capital equipment, including UAH 217,868 from enterprises and UAH 13,252 from private persons.

Rivne Oblast Children’s Hospital

In March 2007, due to the Board of Trustees, the issue of equipping Rivne Oblast Children’s Hospital Onco-Hematology Dpt. with a blood separator was solved.

Sumy Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

The Board of Trustees at the Sumy Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital helped to involve representatives of the community, business, medical workers, and mass media into solving the hospital’s problems.

Ternopil Oblast Community Children’s Clinical Hospital

Due to establishing contacts with foreign patient care institutions, the hospital’s specialists got a chance to go through training and take part in conferences on otolaryngology in Bistre, Poland, and neurology in Saltsburg, Austria, and Voronezh, Russia.

Institute for Children’s and Teenagers’ Health Protection at the AMS of Ukraine

The Board of Trustees’ activity was aimed at purchasing diagnostic equipment for the Institute’s clinics.

Kherson Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital

The Board of Trustees’ activity was aimed at involving additional allotments and other physical resources in the form of medical equipment, medicines, foodstuff, bed linens, and furniture for the hospital.

Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital

The Board of Trustees controls the charitable funds draft to improve the conditions for patients at the Khmelnytsky City Children’s Hospital and its technical facilities.

Chernivtsi Oblast Children’s Hospital No. 2

Due to the Director of the Chernivtsi Chemical Plant, the hospital regularly obtains sponsor aid in the form of the plant’s produce, which allows completing repairs in time and with high quality. The Board’s activities are broadly covered by the local press.

Chernihiv Oblast Children’s Hospital

Due to the Board of Trustees, the hospital started cooperating more actively with charitable funds. Thus, the Hope and Trust Charitable Fund (at the Charitable Mission for Spiritual and Financial Support for Children with Cancer) has donated medical equipment to the hospital to the sum of UAH 13,000.
