As a result of the ZhOCH Board of Trustees’ well-coordinated work, the hospital obtained around UAH 1,240,000 in materials and equipment, as well as non-budget funds.
Capital repairs were carried out at the newborns’ department (almost UAH 600,000).
An action was held to equip playrooms, creating favorable conditions for little patients’ leisure time.
A birch grove was planted at the hospital’s ground to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy.
Every year on St. Nicholas’s Day, Christmas, Easter and Children’s Day the Board of Trustees organizes matinees at the hospital, where children receive presents. Every St. Nicholas’s Day members of the Board of Trustees visit the oblast orphanage with a puppet show and presents.
The anesthesiology department was given capital repairs and equipped with modern newborns’ intensive care beds.
Art therapy classes continue at the ZzhOCH Onco-Hematology Dept., supported by the Board of Trustees.
At present, re[pairs and re-equipping are held at the audiology room at the consulting center, answering all modern requirements. A bids competition was held to purchase an audiology diagnostics system, audio diagnostic testing system, and diagnostic audiometer (to the total of UAH 198,800), financed by the oblast organizations and enterprises (raised through a charitable action), private donations, and UAH 45,000 from the oblast budget.
