The Board of Trustees of the Kirovohrad Oblast Children’s Hospital was founded November 30, 2006.

The Board of Trustees takes an active part in the control over budget funds draft for state programs Pancreatic Diabetes, Oncology, and the oblast program Mothers’ and Children’s Health. The Board cooperates with businesspeople and entrepreneurs of Kirovohrad and oblast to involve charitable donations for the oblast children’s hospital.
In 2006, with the support of the Board of Trustees, the hospital received from a charitable organization computers with pre-installed medical software for the ophthalmology department. In 2007, a playroom at the pediatric department was equipped with toys, furniture, a TV set, DVD player, and video collection. A Breastfeeding Support Room was founded at the newborns’ and premature children department by philanthropists. A TV set and VCR were purchased with donations for the hematology department.
June 1, 2007, the Board of Trustees organized the celebration of the International Children’s Day at the hospital. A contest for the best sidewalk drawing was held, with winners awarded with diplomas and presents.
The Board permanently patronizes orphaned children, students of boarding schools and families with many children, staying at the hospital.
