In March 2007, due to the Board of Trustees, the issue of equipping Rivne Oblast Children’s Hospital Onco-Hematology Dpt. with a blood separator was solved. With Board of Trustees sponsors’ donations, a training was held for Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Unit specialists (2 doctors and 2 nurses) and Onco-Hematology (2 doctors) on giving plasmophoresis to children with serious connective tissue injuries and poisoning.
In September 2007, members of the Board of Trustees jointly with the Healthcare Administration and Diagnosing Center Administration organized a working visit by a delegation of US specialists, headed by Dr. Wladimir Wertelecki of the University of South Alabama, Director of the Ukrainian-American Birth Defects Program. An agreement was reached on continuing the cooperation.
Besides, in September-October 2007 repairs at the Newborns Pathology and Cardiorheumatology Dpts. are underway, funded by the sponsors.
