The situation with medical supplies providing at the hospital has considerably improved. In 2006, medical equipment to the sum of UAH 658,000 had been received by centralized supplies, and another UAH 1,050,000 – from the oblast budget, totaling almost UAH 2,800,000.
For the last two years Head of the Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Sadykov has been holding charitable actions, resulting in the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for the newborns’ ICU to the total of around UAH 500,000 in 2006. In 2007, equipment for the video endoscope surgery was purchased with UAH 200,000 raised at a reception at the Head of the Oblast Rada Tetiana Demchenko.
Another example of the Board of the Trustees’ work is the joint action by the Sodeystviye and Hope and Trust charitable funds, which has brought the onco-hematology department four functional beds and two infusomats B. Braun to the total of UAH 38,000.
