Due to the Board of Trustees, the hospital started cooperating more actively with charitable funds. Thus, the Hope and Trust Charitable Fund (at the Charitable Mission for Spiritual and Financial Support for Children with Cancer) has donated medical equipment to the hospital to the sum of UAH 13,000.
In general, UAH 551,000 has been received as charitable aid in the first 9 months of 2007. The philanthropists also add books to the hospital’s library.
By the initiative of the Board, major repairs were started in 2007 of the 3-storey building of the treatment and diagnostic center. UAH 1,500,000 has been earmarked for this purpose.
